The Got Your Six 12–24 V to 5 V Converter, manufacturer part number GY6-5VCONV, is a compact DC step-down converter for supplying 5 V power from an aircraft electrical system with an 8–30 V DC input.

Specified for experimental-aircraft installations only; this product is not EASA/FAA approved. The source material identifies it for lighting-control use. Installation and circuit protection should be assessed by suitably qualified personnel for the intended installation.

Fits in the palm of your hand - it only weighs 2 oz! Rated at 25 Watts, this converter is EASY to wire - Just provide between 8 volts and 30 volts positive to the RED line, Ground to either of the black wires, and 5 volts will flow OUT of the YELLOW wire.
