The uAvionix AV-Mag PMA is a compact external 3-axis magnetometer designed to provide magnetic-field input for uAvionix AV-30 directional heading measurement. By measuring the Earth’s magnetic field, it is intended to support improved long-term heading accuracy and consistency.

One AV-Mag can support multiple AV-30 displays, providing a streamlined solution where more than one compatible display is installed. Installation, configuration and calibration should be completed in accordance with the applicable current uAvionix instructions and approved installation data.
