The Stadia LIDAR Altimeter – Model L is a compact height-above-ground landing aid using LIDAR measurement technology. It connects to a pilot’s smartphone via Bluetooth and provides audible altitude cues to support height awareness during landing.

Model L is intended as a temporary attachment and is described for use with an aircraft tie-down ring. Its rechargeable battery provides up to 12 hours of operating time.
