The White Lightning M2827 is a compact portable ground power unit for supplying stable airframe electrical power to 24/28 V certified aircraft while on the ground. It is intended for activities such as avionics and database updates, flight planning, powered pre-flight checks, procedures training and general maintenance.

The unit provides a fixed 28.5 V DC output at up to 27 A maximum continuous power. It is designed for continuous airframe power only and is not intended for engine starting.
