The Garmin 494-70009-00 is an oil temperature sensor for Garmin engine indication system (EIS) installations where this part number is specified. Garmin documentation identifies this sensor as a UMA T3B3-2.5G Type K oil-temperature probe.

This ungrounded thermocouple probe features a 5/8-18-3A threaded connection and brass, chromel and alumel construction. It is intended for oil-temperature measurement within the applicable engine-monitoring installation.
