The TCW Integrated Battery Back-up System (IBBS) is a 24 V, 3 Ah certified backup-power unit designed to support an endurance bus for critical electronic loads. It combines a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery pack, integral charging system and switching circuitry in one engineered assembly.

During normal operation, the IBBS is connected to the aircraft electrical bus and maintains the battery charge. In a power interruption or low-voltage condition, it provides a stable backup output for connected critical equipment. The system also provides surge and voltage-sag protection intended to help maintain operation of connected equipment during engine starting.

  • Manufacturer part number: IBBS-24V-3AH-CRT-V
