The Whelen Orion 6501G is an LED wingtip light assembly combining a green forward-position light with a white flashing anti-collision light. Designed for 14 VDC aircraft electrical systems, it incorporates the required LED control circuitry within the unit, eliminating the need for a separate flasher box.

The assembly uses a clear hard-coated polycarbonate lens and has the same footprint and mounting arrangement as legacy Whelen products, supporting straightforward replacement where the applicable installation configuration is confirmed.
