The Powervamp Coolspool 17 is a portable 28 V DC aircraft start unit configuration, supplied with a 6.5 ft (approximately 2 m) output lead incorporating crocodile clips and an SB175 connection. It has a US-input internal charger.

The Coolspool 17 series is designed as a compact onboard or ground-support power source for aircraft starting and emergency-power use. Its aluminium case, integrated carry handle and protective jacket support practical handling and protection during use and transport.
