The Garmin G5 Electronic Flight Instrument, manufacturer part number K10-00280-21, is a certified electronic display for directional gyro (DG) or horizontal situation indicator (HSI) installations. It has a bright, sunlight-readable 3.5-inch colour display designed for a standard 79 mm instrument cut-out.

Configured as a DG/HSI, the G5 provides a compact electronic flight-display solution for approved certificated-aircraft installations. The installed configuration is determined by the applicable Garmin AML STC installation data and the aircraft records.
