The uAvionix tailBeaconX TSO is a tail-mounted 1090 MHz Mode S ADS-B Out solution integrating a Mode S Extended Squitter transponder, WAAS GPS receiver and LED rear position light in one unit.

Designed as a remote transponder installation, tailBeaconX requires connection to a compatible control device with the required control, display, annunciation and pressure-altitude interfaces. Refer to the applicable uAvionix installation documentation for approved equipment interfaces, installation configuration and continuing-airworthiness requirements.
