The ARTEX ELT 345 Compact Kit (manufacturer part number 8107) is a 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz emergency locator transmitter package configured with a compact 381 mm black whip antenna. It combines the ELT 345 transmitter with a standard 2-wire remote switch, coaxial cable and GA installation kit.

The ELT 345 incorporates a GPS navigational interface accepting NMEA 0183 or RS-232 input. When activated, it transmits on 406.040 MHz and 121.5 MHz; activation may be automatic through the integral G-switch or manual.
