Aithre Shield EX 3.0 is a compact, behind-the-panel carbon monoxide (CO) detector for experimental aircraft installations. Manufacturer part number ASCOX3002.

The unit provides CO data through analogue outputs and can wirelessly receive portable oxygen-bottle pressure data from a compatible Aithre Altus Meso monitor. It also supports compatible Aithre Illyrian pilot SpO2 data for output to connected avionics. Aithre identifies compatibility with Garmin G3X and Dynon SkyView installations when the required interface equipment is fitted.

  • Approximate detector dimensions: 50 × 50 × 17 mm; mounting flange adds approximately 19 mm to the base width
  • Approximate unit weight: 31 g
