The ARTEX ME406 ACE ELT Remote Switch Kit, part number 455-0023, is a remote switch assembly for the ME406 ACE emergency locator transmitter system.

The switch incorporates a lithium battery designed to power its LED independently of aircraft electrical power. Its rear connector is intended for the existing “telephone wire” connection used in ACK or Ameri-King ELT installations.
