Trig TA50 Compact GPS Antenna (manufacturer part number 02172-00) is a compact active GPS antenna supplied with a 3 m cable and QMA connector. It is designed to connect directly to the Trig TN72 GPS Position Source.

The lightweight, weatherproof TA50 can be installed internally or externally where a clear view of the GPS satellite constellation can be maintained. It is suited to installations where available mounting space is limited.

  • 3 m cable with QMA connector
  • Active amplified GPS antenna with 26 dB gain
  • Operating frequency: 1575.42 MHz ±3 MHz
  • 3 to 5 V DC power requirement
  • Operating temperature: -40 °C to +85 °C
  • Weatherproof construction for internal or external installation
  • Supplied with installation guide and fixing kit

Approval status: the TA50 is not EASA/FAA certified. Installation and post-installation performance checks should be completed in accordance with the applicable Trig documentation and aircraft requirements.
