The MGL Replacement OAT Probe is an outside-air-temperature sensing probe intended as a replacement component for applicable MGL avionics installations.

MGL describes its standard ambient-temperature probe as an LM335 semiconductor sensor housed in machined aluminium, with a threaded mounting base and nylon mounting hardware. Ambient-temperature input may be used by supported MGL instruments for functions such as outside-air-temperature indication and density-altitude calculation.
