The MGL Capstan Kit is an optional, precision-machined conversion kit for adapting a standard MGL Servo to capstan operation.

The kit uses flexible steel cable routed around a drum. The manufacturer specifies approximately 1.5 mm diameter cable; cable is not included, allowing the installer to select the appropriate length for the installation. Clamping blocks are supplied for attaching the capstan cable to the aircraft control cable; minor adjustment may be required to suit the installed control-cable diameter.
