The EarthX ETX900-24 is a 24 V-class lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery for experimental aircraft applications. Supplied in the EarthX U case format, it combines 15.6 Ah capacity with high cranking performance in a compact 4.0 kg package.

EarthX specifies an integrated battery management system (BMS) providing protection for over-discharge, over-charge, short circuit and temperature conditions, with cell balancing. The battery also provides a fault-indication connection that may be wired to a 24 V panel light or compatible EFIS, subject to the manufacturer’s installation instructions.

Designed by EarthX for piston engines up to 550 cubic inches, with stated maximum alternator outputs of 80 A at 28.8 V or 150 A at 28 V. Verify electrical-system suitability and installation requirements before fitment.

Approval status: Not EASA/FAA approved; intended for experimental aircraft only.

Included by manufacturer: ETX900-24 battery and two 6 mm screws with washers and lock washers. A fault-indicator LED is not included.
