The MGL Avionics V16 is a remote-mount VHF airband transceiver designed as a split-module radio system. It can be controlled through compatible MGL EFIS equipment or optional external control heads, helping to keep the transceiver body separate from the panel interface.

  • 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz channel spacing

  • Built-in VSWR meter for antenna checks, tuning support and transmitter protection
  • Receiver audio recording and recall function, with up to one minute total storage

The unit is supplied by the manufacturer with a D25 solder-bucket connector and shell, an SMA-to-RG58-style antenna cable crimp connector, and an abbreviated printed manual. An SMA-to-BNC adaptor is available separately where a BNC antenna connection is required.
