The Appareo Stratus ESG is a panel-mounted 1090ES Mode S extended-squitter transponder with an integrated WAAS GPS position source. This configuration is supplied with the Stratus 3i kit, adding an ADS-B In receiver intended to connect with the Stratus ESG.

The included Stratus 3i provides ADS-B In reception and backup AHRS functionality when connected to the Stratus ESG. It is intended for use with ForeFlight on an iPad and is not EASA/FAA approved.
