The Icom IC-A25C Sport is a communications-only VHF air band handheld radio configured with an AA battery case. Designed for straightforward airband communication, it combines a large 2.3-inch high-visibility display with an easy-to-use keypad and channel-control layout.

The IC-A25C provides typical RF output of 6 W PEP and supports 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing. Its IP57 dust-protection and waterproof construction, flip-flop recall for the last 10 channels used, and 121.5 MHz emergency key make it a practical handheld communications radio for aviation use.
