With a 33 mm-high stack format, the TY96A is designed to conserve panel space while providing a clear dual-frequency display and practical communications functions for general aviation use.

• 25 kHz VHF radio with 760 channels from 118.000 to 136.992 MHz
• 10 W nominal carrier transmitter power
• Dual Watch for monitoring two frequencies
• Push Step tuning selection between 25 kHz and 50 kHz steps
• ‘Say Again’ replay function for the last received transmission
• Dedicated emergency-frequency selection for 121.5 MHz
• Configurable airfield-frequency database for more than 200 frequencies and identifiers, uploaded through the front USB port
