The Trans-Cal SSD120-35C-RS232 is a solid-state altitude encoder/digitizer designed to convert pressure-altitude information into digital output data for aircraft avionics installations.

It provides one ICAO parallel pressure-altitude output and two asynchronous RS232 serial altitude-data outputs. Serial resolution is supplied at 10 ft, with 10 ft or 100 ft resolution selectable through internal shunts. The unit has an operating pressure-altitude range of -1,000 to +35,000 ft.
