The Schauer JAC0512-R is a 12 V, 5 A automatic switch-mode battery charger supplied with ring terminals for a secure battery connection. It is intended for charging and maintaining compatible lead-acid, AGM and gel batteries.

The charger uses a three-stage charging profile with constant-current, constant-voltage and float/maintenance stages. LED status indication shows power, charging and float-mode status.
