BatteryMINDer 1510-Obd

BatteryMINDer® 1510-OBD2 is a 12 V, 1.5 A battery charger, maintainer and high-frequency pulse desulfator supplied with an SAE-to-OBD2 connector. The OBD2 connection is intended to allow battery maintenance through a vehicle’s onboard diagnostic port where direct access to the battery may be inconvenient.

The unit incorporates an installed ambient-temperature sensor for temperature-compensated charging, together with reverse-polarity, short-circuit and over-temperature protection. It is designed for 12 V flooded and maintenance-free sealed batteries; the manufacturer advises that it is not for use with specialty sealed AGM batteries, except Optima-brand sealed AGM batteries.
