Appareo Stratus 3 ADS-B Receiver

The Appareo Stratus 3 is a portable ADS-B receiver designed to provide compatible flight applications with received traffic, WAAS GPS position and supplemental flight data via its dedicated Wi-Fi network.

Important for European operations: the receiver uses UAT ground broadcasts for ADS-B weather. Appareo states that ADS-B weather is not available outside the United States, where UAT is not in use. Traffic reception and displayed information depend on local ADS-B infrastructure, aircraft equipage and operating conditions.
