The Garmin G5 Experimental is a compact electronic flight instrument for experimental amateur-built and light sport aircraft applications. This configuration is supplied with an LPM kit and a 4 ft (approximately 1.2 m) wire pigtail.

The G5 combines key flight information in a sunlight-readable colour display designed for a standard 3-1/8 in instrument-panel cut-out. Garmin describes the unit as supporting pilot-selectable PFD and DG/HSI display pages, with solid-state attitude reference and an integrated GPS receiver.
