The Garmin GAE 12 is a compact altitude encoder for supported Garmin GTX 335, GTX 345 and GNX 375 installations. It provides a direct pressure-altitude input solution and mounts to the compatible unit backplate, helping simplify access for installation and subsequent avionics maintenance.

The encoder connects to the aircraft static-pressure system and is configured through the compatible display interface or Garmin PC-based installation tool. A 1/8-27 ANPT male fitting is required for installation.
