The Icom HM-217 is a speaker microphone for compatible Icom VHF air-band transceivers. It combines a microphone with an integrated speaker, allowing received audio to be heard directly from the handset.

Front-panel controls include channel Up/Down keys and two programmable function buttons, P1 and P2, providing convenient access to assigned radio functions.
