The ARTEX ELT 345 Standard Kit, manufacturer part number 8102, is an emergency locator transmitter package configured with a black whip antenna and standard 2-wire remote switch. The kit is identified by ARTEX as a USA-programmed configuration.

The ELT 345 transmits on 406.040 MHz and 121.5 MHz and incorporates a GPS navigational interface accepting NMEA 0183 or RS-232 data. GPS position data can be included in the emergency transmission. Activation is available manually through the ELT or cockpit remote switch, or automatically through the integral G-switch.
