The Icom IC-A220M is a VHF air band transceiver supplied with the MB-53 mobile mounting bracket. Designed for clear, practical radio operation, it combines a white OLED display and illuminated keys with a compact 34 mm-high chassis.

The transceiver supports 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing across the specified VHF air band frequency range. Its operating layout includes main and standby channel switching, memory recall, dual watch and priority watch functions, plus one-touch access to the 121.5 MHz emergency frequency.
