The ACK Technologies E-04C.3 is a commercial 406/121.5 MHz emergency locator transmitter (ELT) kit supplied with the AV-300-1 rod antenna. The manufacturer identifies this configuration as the E-04C commercial model with a 350-knot rod antenna.

The GPS-capable ELT accepts Garmin Aviation, Bendix/King Aviation, NMEA 0183 and ARINC 429 position data, and retains GPS coordinates after power is removed. The remote control is designed to fit Artex and Kannad panel cut-outs.

The E-04C is certified to TSO-C126b; its lithium battery is certified to TSO-C142a and UN/DOT 38.3.
