The Avlite AV-70-R/G is a self-contained, solar-powered 12 LED aviation light with red/green output. It is intended for runway threshold and other airfield-marking applications where an independently powered light is required.

Two internal solar modules are integrated within the lens to collect solar energy, while an internal photodiode automatically activates the light at night as ambient light levels decrease. The robust UV-stabilised polycarbonate housing is rated IP68 for water ingress protection.
