The ARTEX 8304 is a standard 2-wire remote switch for ARTEX ELT installations, including ELT 1000 configurations specified by the manufacturer. It is intended as a replacement remote switch where the applicable ELT installation calls for part number 8304.

The three-position switch remains in the normal ARMED position and provides cockpit access for ELT testing or manual activation. Its 2-wire arrangement was designed to support installations using earlier 121.5 MHz ELT wiring, helping simplify applicable upgrade installations.
