The ARTEX ELT 1000 Base Pack, manufacturer part number 8207, is an emergency locator transmitter package configured with a white 8603 rod antenna and ARTEX 8304 remote-switch/accessory reference.

The ELT 1000 transmits a 406 MHz emergency signal and a 121.5 MHz homing signal through a single RF output, using one coaxial cable. It incorporates a built-in navigational interface and supports automatic G-switch or manual activation.
