The ARTEX ELT 1000 Base Pack, manufacturer part number 8203, is a 406 MHz emergency locator transmitter package supplied with the ARTEX 110-773 whip antenna and 8304 remote switch.

The ELT 1000 uses a single RF output and one coaxial connection for 406 MHz distress transmission and a 121.5 MHz homing signal. It features a built-in GPS navigational interface and can be activated automatically by its primary G-switch or manually.
