The Trig TY91 is a compact, certified VHF communication radio designed to minimise panel-space requirements while providing 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing. This configuration is supplied with a two-place harness of approximately 1.2 m (4 ft) and attached headset jacks, as identified for manufacturer part number ASA-00271-SU.

The TY91 uses a separate control head and radio unit, supporting flexible installation where available panel depth is limited. Its 6 W nominal transmitter output, Dual Watch function and Push Step frequency selection provide practical communication capability for suitably approved aircraft installations.
