The M-001-A ANR Retrofit Headset Kit is a standard active noise reduction conversion kit for suitable aviation headsets. It provides the components required to retrofit a compatible headset with ANR modules, helping extend the service life and capability of an existing headset installation.

Installation requires fitting the supplied modules and inserts, creating an opening in one earcup for the power receptacle, and soldering the original headset cable leads to the replacement components. The system is powered by one 9 V battery. Professional assessment and careful installation are recommended to confirm suitability for the headset concerned.

Silicone gel ear seals are required for the intended ANR performance. Dry or liquid-filled ear seals are not recommended for this installation.
