The Dynon/Advanced Flight Systems SV-261, manufacturer part number 74109, is a remote-mounted Class 1 Mode S transponder option designed for control through an Advanced Flight Systems AF-5000 EFIS. Its remote installation can help preserve instrument-panel space while placing transponder control and annunciation on the EFIS display.

The unit supports conventional Mode A/C and Mode S surveillance replies, plus 1090 MHz Extended Squitter (1090ES) ADS-B Out capability. ADS-B Out functionality requires an appropriately approved and configured GPS position source as part of the aircraft installation.
