The Garmin GMC 305 is a dedicated Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) mode controller for Garmin G3X avionics installations. It provides a physical autopilot and flight-director interface at the instrument panel, supporting efficient access to applicable autopilot functions.

The integrated control wheel is used for pitch, vertical-speed and airspeed adjustments. The panel also includes Garmin’s LVL function, which commands the autopilot to assist with returning the aircraft to straight-and-level flight when the system is appropriately installed and configured.
