The ACK Technologies E-04.0 is a non-rechargeable lithium replacement battery pack for the ACK Model E-04 emergency locator transmitter (ELT).

  • Manufacturer part number: E-04.0
  • For use with ACK Model E-04 ELT equipment
  • 12 V lithium sulphur dioxide (Li-SO2) battery
  • 7.75 Ah rating
  • Rated battery life: 5 years when used with the Model E-04 ELT
  • Approximate dimensions: 146 × 72 × 72 mm
  • Weight: approximately 0.54 kg

The battery pack is keyed for correct orientation during installation. Replace the battery on or before the expiration date marked on the battery, record the new expiry date in the aircraft logbook, and perform the applicable ELT self-test after installation in accordance with the current ACK instructions.

Not a direct replacement for the ACK E-01 battery.
