The EBC-406AFH-INT is the international-version EBC 406AFH emergency locator transmitter (ELT), intended for helicopter use. It features an omni-directional helicopter activation system and operates on 406.028 MHz and 121.5 MHz emergency frequencies.

This AF-series configuration is designed for tail-section installation and uses a remote control monitor for pilot control. The ELT provides automatic and manual activation, a built-in audible activation monitor, and a self-test function for checking 406 MHz transmission power and the antenna-coax connection.
