RAM Base Glare Shield Mount

The RAM Mounts RAM-B-259U Glare Shield Clamp Ball Base is a clamp-on mounting base for securing to the lip of a suitably robust flat surface, including an aircraft glare shield. Two composite thumb screws tighten the clamp to the mounting edge, while the integrated 25.4 mm RAM B-size rubber ball provides the connection point for a compatible RAM B-size double-socket arm and accessory components.

The base is made from marine-grade aluminium and accepts surface edges up to 15.9 mm thick.
