Trans-Cal Altimeter Encoder Emulator Eet-200

The Trans-Cal Industries EET-200 Encoder Emulator is a diagnostic tool for troubleshooting altitude encoder and transponder installations. It provides a known altitude-code source to help avionics technicians isolate faults in encoder outputs, interconnecting wiring and transponder input circuits.

The unit supports diagnostic checks of altitude encoder output, cable continuity, transponder response, enable/strobe operation and power polarity. Selected pre-programmed altitude settings allow individual altitude-code data bits to be evaluated in sequence. When used with an encoder, the integrated vacuum syringe can be used to simulate pressure altitudes for comparison against the supplied altitude-code reference.
