The Vertical Power VP-X Sport is a solid-state electronic circuit breaker and power-distribution system for 14 V experimental and light-sport aircraft electrical installations. Manufacturer part number: VP-X-SPORT.

Designed to consolidate circuit protection and electrical-system control, the VP-X Sport provides 23 switched power circuits and replaces conventional panel-mounted thermal circuit breakers with configurable electronic circuit protection. The system is configured by PC and provides an RS-232 interface for compatible EFIS integration, enabling electrical-system status monitoring and control through the installed avionics configuration.

The VP-X Sport is intended only for experimental and light-sport aircraft applications. It is not EASA/FAA approved for installation in type-certified aircraft.

Installation requires the appropriate VP-X Sport connector kit or wiring harness kit, supplied separately. Consult the manufacturer’s VP-X Pro & VP-X Sport Installation and Operating Manual and planning documentation before installation and configuration.
