The Skycom H-40A is a passive aviation headset with dual general-aviation (GA) plugs. Designed as a straightforward communications headset, it combines 24 dB passive attenuation with a noise-cancelling electret microphone for clear voice transmission and reduced background noise.

Foam ear seals and an Air-Foam headpad support a comfortable fit, while the fully adjustable headband and hand-adjustable knurled controls allow individual adjustment. The metal microphone boom uses a ball-joint arrangement for positioning at either side of the mouth.
