The Flightcom IISX is a portable, voice-activated mono intercom for two headset positions. Designed for straightforward portable use, it can operate from an internal 9 V battery or from aircraft power using the supplied cigarette-lighter adapter.

Its modular configuration supports optional expansion from two to four positions with the Flightcom SR-4 expansion module. Adjustable volume and squelch controls, pilot isolate, and auxiliary input and output jacks provide practical communication and audio-management functions.
