The ACK Technologies E-04R is a 406/121.5 MHz emergency locator transmitter retrofit kit designed for aircraft already equipped with an ACK E-01 ELT. It provides the components required to change from the E-01 installation to the E-04 ELT configuration while retaining applicable existing E-01 installation hardware.

The kit is supplied with a 250-knot whip antenna and is GPS-capable, accepting position input data from compatible Garmin, Bendix/King and NMEA 0183 GPS sources.
