The ACK Technologies E-04 is a 406/121.5 MHz emergency locator transmitter (ELT) kit supplied with a whip antenna. Identified by manufacturer part number E-04, this USA-configuration kit is intended for aircraft emergency-location system installations.

The E-04 combines 406 MHz distress transmission with 121.5 MHz homing transmission and uses a lithium battery system. ACK documentation also describes provision for GPS position-data input; installation, programming and registration requirements should be reviewed before release to service.
