The EBC 406AP is an automatic portable emergency locator transmitter (ELT) system intended for cabin or cockpit installation in fixed-wing aircraft.

The system transmits on 406.028 MHz and 121.5 MHz and is supplied with an ELT transmitter, external whip antenna with coaxial cable, portable/survival antenna, mounting bracket and battery pack.
