The Comant CI-420-420 ComDat® is a multifunction external antenna combining GPS and XM Weather reception in one teardrop-footprint unit. It provides separate connections for the two functions: a TNC connector for GPS and an SMA connector for XM.

The antenna is intended for installations using a panel-mounted GPS receiver with approximately 26.5 dB gain requirements. Its combined configuration can support an XM Weather installation at an existing GPS antenna location, subject to confirmation of the aircraft installation, receiver requirements and applicable approval data.
